Welcome to the Brian May Scholarship website.
The Brian May Scholarship provides financial assistance to promising Australian screen composers to study screen scoring at the University of Southern California, a world leading education facility.
The Brian May Scholarship is administered by the Trustees of the Brian May Trust.
News
• The Trustees are excited to announce that The Brian May Scholarship is returning to the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California next year!
• The Scholarship will be offered for the academic years 2025 – 2026. The value of the Scholarship has been set at AU$95,000.00.
• The course of study offered is for a two-semester Master of Music degree.
• Applications are now open for the next scholarship!
